Ok the boat is back,it's an updated Cockatoo carrying the Extreme deck changes are minor in overall beam measurement,as stated the Extreme is a different hull again being narrow, funny enough it showed good light air speed at the USA nats, but by my understanding was intended for heavy air, that's also...

The boats in the foreground and background look to have a different bulb to ABN Ambro,i'd say for IOM comparison they look similar to a Drumbeat bulb being flatter at the tail, where Ambro's looks similar to Sails Etc bulb. Here in the Caribbean there's a Richel/Pugh custom 41 that carries a bulb simi...

Ed,the boats that you are looking at all have the original deck, oval on the fore deck, this boat here has on a completley different deck alltogether,i have only popped a tape on it briefly and it's about 3 mm less on the max beam. When it returns from Dallas i'll have a closer look at it. Hi Ed'
one of our local sailors has a new Cockatoo which was purchased from Jeff at the USA nats late last year,it's a Cockatoo hull with an Extreme deck on it,so thats my guess, but dont hold me to it,the overall beam is also a tad less than the other Cockatoo thats here.Regards Peter

Another note that this is actually two Regattas with an overall score,so you can sail two different boats if you so choose, one per Regatta, primary reason being should one of you international competitors have a serious problem,we will have a loaner boat(Eldred Errica) to lend you so you wont have to...

Barry, soldering on the new antenna on to the Rx is pretty tight as in a small area to work,if you're not comfortable with it get the coax wire with the instructions from Rob and have an electronic store do it for you cant take but all of 20 mins, pay attention to what Rob says removing the wire,when...

Seems like most agree,i know from experience it's fairly easy to stay in A fleet if prevaling conditions are good and your boat is sailing well.I just like the idea of a gang coming to get ya from B fleet so you better start sailing agressively to stay there,as i said more action.Peter
