Hi, I was wondering what most of you use as for connections (batteries to winch...) I would think that a fair amount of skippers use the futaba plug but I find themt too exposed to the element (we sail mainly on the sea). I personally use Molex plugs, purely because they were those in place when I bought my first boat. I was looking at the Tamiya plugs as they look quite serious... any thoughts ???

Also having plugs that other use will help for lending a battery pack or charging it ...

Cheers

most of us in the US use Deans 3 connector plugs for pretty much all electrical connections - that way we can share batteries with one another.
