Thai,

The sketch seems to have a few dimensions missing, specifically the recommended :-

1/ Hound positions
2/ Spreader positions
3/ Spreader length

It might also be useful if you were to provide the :-

a/ Main boom sheet attachment position relative to the either the mast of gooseneck
b/ The Foresail boom sheet attachment position relative to the swivel point
c/ The swivel point position relative to the forestay

The only thing the dimensions provided in the sketch is set the mast rake, the centre of gravity and nothing else

Whilst the dimensions relating to the fin position are useful and interesting one sincerely hopes that the factory set the fin to the correct position and is factory checked before dispatch to the Customer because it is near impossible move the fin if the fin-box is incorrectly located!

Notably missing are dimensions relating to setting recommended bulb cant/angle

So how about it - Would it be possible for MX Components complete the drawing and publish it ?

AND for the MX 14

Abin,

Thank you for that clarification.

I note your comment that the full rig / set up details are available to MX Components / Tai Safepack Customers.

I am such a Customer and most certainly no information was provided to me with the boat or indeed was any forthcoming when I requested it from your distributor/s.

I made a posting on this very forum some months ago asking for assistance but no assistance or information was forthcoming from any source save for some idiotic posting that he just puts the mast on the boat and wins every races at his club.

So given your claim/comment, how does one acquire this seemingly secret information for the MX14 and the MX16.

Perhaps you might like to E-mail me with this information directly.

You can sent it to :- dave.alston@sky.com
