Alternative build

Decided to use up my old stock of cedar planks (3 boats worth) and build myself a modern boat. Thanks Brad, have gone for your "Alternative" design.
Picture of starting point. Ignore the string through the shadows; these are the 2mm alignment holes; each shadow is sighted in line using a bright light and looking down the hull,
