The IOM Class Championship Rules (CCR) deal with the events which fall under the remit of the IOMICA Events Sub-Committee. The IOM CCRs were based upon the RSD CCRs at the time that IOMICA was formed and were approved by RSD. Part of the approval was that the IOM CCRs 'said the right things just lik...

NZRYA is affiliated with YNZ. The type of affiliation achieved, however, does not provide YNZ recognition of a National Champion as laid down by their regulations. ALL THAT CHANGES as of when the IOM becomes an ISAF Class Hi Roy648 I think this is the YNZ Regulation you refer to: Yachting New Zeala...

No one disputes the importance of an International Class having IMs. The question is, how much would this cost the IOM class, not whether the class should have them.

The wording of 26.5 is 'shall ... if practical'.

Hi Antonio I think I understand your question (smile), and I think the answer is simply that Anders Wallin, the 'official' counter of the votes, made an error, incorrectly identifying Bruce as the winner at first.

When should an Observer (or, indeed, Umpire) call 'Contact!' between two boats, or a boat and a mark? I can think of three possibilities. First is, the Observer calls a contact 'on balance of probability'. That is, when it is more likely than not that two boats were in contact. This might be called ...
