Red Wine - no rigs

Post by Richard Moroney » 21 Feb 2019, 18:00

Red wine GBR 1998, registered. Hull with fin, ballast, rudder and rudder servo.
This is a woven glass epoxy boat and is very light, has significant corrector weight forward of the finbox. Will need altering, of course, after re-rigging.
No winch or electrics included, apart from the digital rudder servo and the deck mounted waterproof switch.
The modern Sails etc ballast is set to 0 degrees to optimise light wind performance, at which Red Wine excels. Still a boat to reckon with.
Hull is in excellent condition, chines still nice and sharp. I tried a slim section fin, but reverted to the original since it much better suits this design.
Comes with a bag of bits: mast rake blocks and mast heels.
Sailed competitively until very recently, when I completed an Alternative and re allocated the sails accordingly.
Will pack and post at additional cost to the buyer, I don't think it will be too expensive (even overseas)
£275 seems not unreasonable considering condition and pedigree, as they say!
