It appears from this post on the Kiwi Radio Yachting Forum that Martin Firebrace (2 Dogs, 3 Dogs, Ericca and other designs) has passed away.

This is said news indeed. Martin was a fine sailor and designer. He was helpful to those sailing his boats and he was a gracious host when I visited New Zealand. He will be missed.

The Portuguese NCA would like to offer our sincerest condolenses to the family and friends of Martin Firebrace.
The RC Sailing comunity will surely miss his presence.
