Class Rule Resolutions

Post by Barry Fox CAN262 » 17 May 2012, 20:49

I thought I would post a note here about the ICA AGM as well as the one that is already in the Class Management section.

A reminder that any rule change proposals must come from an NCA. So if you have any ideas for rule changes, or any changes to the Constitution or Regulations, or any proposals for the Class Championship Rules then you need to get your NCA on board and get them submitted.

There is a deadline of 10 weeks prior to the AGM for any of those submissions and for this year that date becomes September 9th. Sounds like a long way off but it will be on us pretty soon.

This forum is a way to sound others out but items posted here are just thinking out loud and don't constitute official submissions. They have to come from an NCA as the NCAs are the only actual members of the ICA. You as owners of IOM boats get your "official" word to the ICA through your NCA. If your NCA won't support your position then you have some work to do at home first.

So just in case you have an idea that you think needs to happen to any of the above documentation, this message is to make sure you know the process to get your ideas presented.
