2013 AGM

Post by Jens Amenda » 21 Nov 2013, 19:20

Hi all there,

thinking about the proposed class championship rule change I want to ask the Event SC for more reasons to this proposal.

The described situation is not correct - the max number of places is 84 at such events - so at stage 1 there are 20 open places.

The real situation more often was in the way that the hosting countries were looking for a full competitor number. And often we had big fleets from a small number of (often the same) NCA´s.

Who will profit? Who will not profit? To the last I´m sure the "small" counties/NCA´s - of course they also can get more than 1 place viewing the "real" situation, but only at last stage of the place allocation.
Must we really do this? For our own? Or would it be better to support "small" NCA´s in hope to help them becoming better?

Or is there another thinking behind? What happens to such NCA´s which "forget" to name their regisered owners etc. in front of the annual AGM? Do they have to stay at home at the next WC or CC?

Regards,

Jens
