I'm not disagreeing with you about Geoff's ability, ask any RC sailor in NZ 'who is the best?' and Geoff will be at the top of the list I was just pointing out that it has taken him 15 years to 'officially' get the "No. 1" title.

Interesting choice of words there - strangely enough even though Geoff would undoubtedly be the best RC sailor in NZ (as he was in full size sailing many years ago) I believe that this is the first time he has taken out the IOM Nationals in this ...

Yep based on the discussion I think its proberbly legal. But now you gotta make it work. Think you can get it going as well as the hoola? :)

Under your scheme woudn't you still need to float the boat to check that the hull doesn't exceed the 60mm?
