I always sail my own designs, they're always the best. well let's be serious. All the boats listed in the poll are good designs, but when first putting up a poll all designs available should be listed to get a fair poll for all the designs. Why do you want to make such a complicated ranking system?
A system giving u more point's the more participants is easy to handle.
Can't u try to contact those people and ask them how it's done
