Hi Lester, The safest way is to call that you are retiring while still 'disabled'. That way you should have a valid claim based if the other boat is found 'at fault'. The way I read it, yes. - but don't put the number on your sail - wait until the RD at a regatta asks you to do it - and make it removable.

Hi Robert, not to quibble, but the IOM class rule refers to RRS Appendix G and as modified in Appendix E and has the same effect as if it were a class rule when completing the rig measurement form.
