Hi, I'm trying to restaure a Mandarin for a kid who wants to sail with us. I have no information whatsoever on this type of boat. So any kind of information on the rigging and sheeting system mainly would be very appreciated. It is also missing the bow bumper, anyone got a spare one they don't use anymore or any idea where I could get one ?
Any help appreciated

from memory (so I might be wrong) but I think Ken Binks aka KBits used to sell/market the Mandarin, so may have some info/equipment - worth a try

Gilbert,
If you send me your address via email to: - ralphgknowles@yahoo.com I will send you the original plan for fitting out a Mandarin. It is not very up to date as far as fittings are concerned, no Sailsetc gear, but you did indicate 'an old Mandarin'. Have one myself and completely refitted it a couple of years age and raised the foredeck etc. Took about 400gms out of it to get it down to weight. Still about 20gms over. Any questions, be free to ask. Ill try to find a pic. or two to mail to you.
Good luck
Cheers
Ralph
