2007 Worlds application received

Latest news on the website:

IOMICA has received an application to host the 2007 IOM World Championships from the Yachting Club of Pointe Rouge, Marseille, France, on 1 June 2006.

whats the latest info on this event - is it a definite or a maybe - and if its a definite, do we have any firm dates etc?

Hi Peter,

There were no other applicants wanting to host a Worlds event in 2007, so Marseille it is.
A preliminary Notice of Race is being worked on by the Events sub-committee together with the organizers from YCPR. The latest dates I know of are 13. to 20. October 2007, but these are preliminary and could change.

Bruce Andersen might be able to tell you more.

IOMICA and YCPR are working out the details of the Preliminary Notice of Race that will give dates & details. Not sure when we will post it, but it should be soon. More as it unfolds.

Yes the dates are confirmed and a preliminary Notice of Race should be out soon. Entries must go through your NCA.
