It now appears we have language from three sources (Anders, Steve Landeau USA and Aus) all addressing the boom topping lift problem. I think everyone proposing this change has the same goal in mind. In the best of all possible worlds it would be great if everyone reached a consensus and came up with an agreed upon single standard to be voted on. If that is not possible, VC Technical will make a decision to either write or recomment a unified proposed rule change. Off the top of my heard, the proposal by Anders seems the simplest and clearest, but I am open to convincing.
