I think I wrongfully remembered the rules from way back

Maybe it could make some sense for WC, but deffenately not for CC. Just an example.

Due to the fact that the last EC was moved, Denmark was not able to send any skippers, so DEN will not get any extra spots.
With the current rules DEN gets 3 spots, but with the proposal DEN will only get one spot ...

I have been trying to make a money transfere for the entry fee for the WC i West Kirby.
But my net bank keeps coming up with a message, that there is a fault in the IBAN code.
In the NoR the IBAn code is listed as: GB35MIDL4021140205

Is there anybody who can help, is there a fault in the code ...

The short answer is: No

Only wood and/or fiberglass reinforced plastic and/or plastic are allowed. And for fiberglass it's only pure fiberglass that's allowed.
So, for example Texalium is not allowed, because it's fiberglass coatted with alluminium.

It should be read 8000 kg/m3, 8.000 is the european way to write it.

Why is it then specified, that is should be more than 8000 kg/m3?
I think it's because, you then can't strengthen, when you ad weight to the mast. You are only allowed to use alu or wood ...

I have been checking up on thing, that has to do with the IOM EC in Dubrovnik. Talking to our treasure her in DEN, it has to my notion that we have not pay any subscription for 2008.
Looking at the ISAF-RSD webpage, there is info regarding subscription for 2008.

In light of the Spektrum discussion, and with the risk of sticking my hand in a bees nest, I have a question. 8)

Is it regal to use (on the out side of the hull) filler, f.ex. Plastic Padding, or epoxy with microballoons/microfibre.

Even though Denmark is a little country and there is no charge for measurement of sails, it would still cost about 50 £. The reason is that there is a toll bridge between me and the other measure, and about 250km each way.

My 2 cents.

I have being using both the 5745 and the 5995, in my boats (IOM).
As for the 5745 it has worked fin with no problems at all, it is heavy but reliable. If you use the HiTec programmer and a good Tx you can easily get 180 0 of travel.
