I would like to strongly support Roy's "thought" of one owner/one vote. The present system of "certificated" and "registered" owners is unnecessarily complicated and simply adds work for the officer concerned with collating an IOMICA vote within each NCA.

This evening I have forwarded by email the voting return xls file duly completed as required.

Eventually we managed to get 52 GBR owners to take part in the vote.

I am in agreement with Ken that the alteration of the Agenda for the AGM initially by the addition of the election for chairman was not properly handled, neither by way of complying with IOMICA's own regulations nor by way of alerting NCAs directly.

An initial 2007 Owners list for GBR was submitted to the IOMICA Secretary on 2nd September.

I would like to advise you that voting for AGM resolutions has now started in GBR.

I would not be very happy to have to start making changes to the resolutions at this stage.

Has anyone checked to see whether you can actually change the Agenda for the AGM now that the process is running in the NCAs.

I have been asked by Ray as his NCA representative to request that the Executive take action on clarifying this matter.
