Thanks Richard,
It was your joke that made us aware of previous "sea lawyers" at WC's
from the forum you will see there is a divided opinion. or VC T is of the opinion that they are legal. The RSD Technical thinks it may be challanged. Val has suggested we simply rely on the wording. At the end of ...

yes I agree but given the wish by one of our NCA that the issue should blow up at the WC then it is proper for us to do what we can to prevent that sort of thing and although I agree with where this is going there is some indication that it may not be consistant with other technical views so you ...

Members, it seems the majority of the executive think it better to wear a little pain and adjust the agenda and split the proposal under discussion. Although this may seem outside our constitutions provisions I am comfortable with this course of action. We do not need a lesson in constitutional law ...

Yep I think your onto something. As I understand it the rules re Radio equipment are intended to allow the control of 2 functions. per C.5.3 and then to make sure there is no positioning information transmitted from the boat.
Does a 2.4 gig transmit ?
If not what does it matter if the boat has 2 or ...

Sorry Olivier,
I did not fully read your question "after Race 1"
The final version of HMS 2007 does not address this and it is left up to the SI but the 2 options are to extend time out till only "6" boats are left then finish final boats on water taking into account of DNS. OCS etc or simply Time ...

The proposed HMS 2007 provides for both 4 (84 entries) and 6 (76 entries) promotion RSD have not rejected but neither have they been approved.
