Can anyone tell me what the internal difference is between these two servos to increase the rotation?

I don't have the numbers you are looking for, but since you are here at the IOM site, I'm assuming you are considering using it/them in an IOM? You will find that they will not get the job done under most conditions. There have been many threads regarding what servos work and don't work. Use the search, but some quick models are 5745,5995,5955.
