May a fitting (say, a portion of the gooseneck fitting) be attached permanently to the boom with adhesive, rather than mechanically fastened?
If so:
Adhesive is permitted as a component of a boom, but if the adhesive extends beyond 10 mm from the end of the boom, the purity of the boom section is defiled. Is that adhesive verboten, or is it part of the fitting?
