2026 AGM CALENDAR

Dear all,
Attached please find the agenda leading to our 2026 AGM of December 2d.
It is almost identical to last year’s calendar but will not include elections.
I would like to emphasize again the need to express and present any resolution to be voted on, ASAP so we have time to fine tune them through our forum and bring them in time for IRSA comments prior to week 4 from AGM.
One resolution, (levy for broadcasting major events) presented last year that barely failed to pass, should be brought back with fine tuning as suggested by several of you.
I would like to ask some of you to take the lead on this and eventually contact me, in order to have a proposal on hand by September 23d, and to let me know how our executive members can help on this.

Hello all,
We are reaching the 10 weeks deadline prior to our AGM scheduled for December 2d.
At this point, all proposals for rule change or other relevant request must have been received in order to be voted on at the AGM.
In our previous email we stated:

“September 23 d, 2026-Resolutions for an ordinary or annual meeting of the World Council shall be specified to the IOM ICA Secretary in writing at least 10 weeks before
the meeting at which they are to be proposed.
Sooner is better if agreed. Note that IRSA will be welcome to comment from this date until week four from AGM, on
our forum.”

We have received so far six proposals.
They will all be placed on the agenda of the up coming AGM.

Introduction of a Promotional Levy on NCAs to Fund Live Coverage of World Championships

Legibility of sail numbering rule change with attached rational.

In case of email sizing restrictions, These files can also be found on the IOMICA forum.
Voting on each of them will be expected from every NCA prior to AGM as a
Approve/ disapprove/ abstain
Comments from IRSA are open there until week 4 from meeting or November4th
