narrow beam iom

does anybody know about the narrow beam design iom in this page?

i find it interesting because it looks like a current america's cup class boat when viewed from astern

It looks like Michael Scharmer's boat. (4th of Arcos European Championship)

Hi Ed,

OC44 is correct. The green boat with the red trim is the boat Michael sailed in Spain. The brownish boat with the silver sails ( jib out of place

) is Michaels evolution with slight changes to the lines. Actually the boats with sail # 13 & 33 are also Michaels designs. So as you can see he has gone through some drastic evolution on his designs.
