Hello all IOMICA World Council members,

I hope you have all followed the progress of the 2006 IOMICA World Council meeting on our website and discussion forum. A few pieces of information / reminders:
1. Owner ballot form and Voting results form

3. Meeting schedule

We are now at the point where IOMICA needs your help in carrying out Owner Ballot and collecting the results.
To simplify this process, Andy Stevenson has prepared an owner ballot form available at
http://www.iomclass.org/exec/2006agm/Ow ... t_Form.doc

You may use this form or a similar one when carrying out Owner Ballot.

As a development from last year, the IOMICA Exec has decided to collect the complete owner ballot results from each NCA. We have provided an example of how the results can be submitted, available at:
http://www.iomclass.org/exec/2006agm/NCA_Voting.xls

Another equivalent format would also be OK if you already have owner information in some other format and wish to submit your ballot results that way.

Owner lists for determining the voting strength of each NCA should be submitted to IOMICA (either myself or Andy Stevensson) before 21 August 2006.

Looking at the table, I would particularly like to hear from ARG , IRL, and ITA.
Alan Hayes: please can you submit an owner list to back up the numbers you sent Andy a few days ago, thanks.

Please be aware of the meeting schedule:
21 August 2006: latest date to submit an up-to-date owner list
18 September 2006 earliest date to submit owner ballot results
25 Septemner 2006 latest date to submit owner ballot results

I expect that the overall voting results and a minutes document will be ready shortly after 25 September 2006.

Hi All,

Alan Hayes (NZL) spotted an error in the results spreadsheet, and also suggested we simplify the voting form to make it easier for owners to read.

I have tried to do both, so there are now new versions of these documents on the website:

I have updated the voting strength document to reflect new owner lists from NZL and ITA.

In the Executive committee we have discussed the consequences of inactivity by an NCA (no owner list submitted), and decided to follow IOMICA rules and regulations - thus all other NCAs have zero voting strength until a new list is submitted.

This currently gives ITA and NZL about 46% of the votes while the Executive committe shares the remaining 54 % !

There is about 9 days to go until the deadline for submitting owner lists so I would encourage everyone reading this to make sure their own NCA will submit a new list before 21 August 2006.

I am traveling and will not be able to update the IOMICA website until Tuesday 22 of August.

I will ask our secretary Andy to confirm received owner lists here in this thread.

Current list of NCAs who have submitted an owner list but are not yet updated to the website:
* ESP: 91 registered owners, 19 certificated owners

GBR owners list received:
Registered: 624
Certificated: 594

USA Owners list came in yesterday:
Registered: 205
Certificated: 168
