limits on height of mast strut?

Are there any limits on the placement of a mast strut?

Can it be higher than the lower limit mark?

(I see that there is a limit on checkstays if used - but I cannot find any similar limit on a mast strut)

No

Can it be higher than the lower limit mark?

Yes

I imagine if was thought unnecessary to set a CR limit on the grounds that there’s a practical limit.

Just my personal opinion of course.
