For the proposal to change the size for sail numbering, the motion refers to replacing Appendix E8 G1.4 with numbered items (1) and (2), however the correct reference should be E8 G1 (a) and (b).

Hi John,

Thanks for your comments. The wrong file was uploaded as Proposal 2026-3 - the correct file is attached and, hopefully, it has the correct RRS references. Microsoft Word can have a mind of its own on numbering . The explanatory document (Legibility of Sail Numbers) was uploaded twice (the second time as Proposal 2026-3). Regardless of the RRS reference, it remains the best explanation of the reasoning behind the specifics of the proposed change.

That looks much better - but now the title is incorrect - it relates to 2026-6, not 2026-3
